The story so far:

Lots of people have raised lots of money through lots of events and lots of sponsorship.  This is what has been happening to raise funds over the past few years:

The Hall School in Belsize Park, which James attended from 2004, has organised a number of fund raising initiatives including quiz nights and sponsored events, raising thousands of pounds for the charity

September 2015 - Kristoff, a pupil of The Hall School, donated the money given to him for his birthday to the charity

June 2015 - The Hall School held an art auction to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the school and the funds raised were split between our charity and Corum.  Thanks to the efforts of Abbie Luck in the art department £2,180 was raised for our charity

June 2015 - Asha, Amanda and Chantel, all mothers of boys at The Hall School, took part in a triathlon at Blenheim Palace and raised the fantastic sum of £10,213 for the charity

August 2013 - James's Dad, Tim Allen, together with Claudiu Bichescu and Kate Foster, "The Blazing Saddles" cycled from John O'Groats to Land's End covering over 1000 miles in 13 days and raising almost £9,000 through Just Giving and direct donations

January 2013 - Elena Stepenova, a parent from the Hall School, organised a memorial concert on the eve of James's birthday at St Peter's Church in Belsize Park, featuring world class classical musicians.  The concert raised £4,300 from ticket sales and donations

November 2012 - Steve Pentecost, a friend from Cornwall, trekked to Everest Base Camp over 19 days where he raised a prayer flag on the summit at Kala Patar.  Steve's efforts were reported on the
BBC News and he raised £760 for the charity from his efforts

October 2012 - Dorothy Colling, James's Mum, asked people to donate to the charity on the occasion of her 50th birthday, raising several hundred pounds for the charity

April 2012 - Igor Hordiyevych, the father of James's best friend, Danny, ran the Virgin London Marathon raising £2,710 for the charity
